The future of business starts at the frontline. And the frontline poses diverse challenges. Content and purpose can overcome these challenges. Those brands brands with a purpose grow two times faster than others. Therefore the challenge, and the purpose of PR is to help organizations and brands find their own voice.

Benefits of Clear Goals

An organization with a clear purpose is one that is easy to understand and manage. Because a common purpose unifies employees and helps them understand the organization’s direction. The purpose is an organization’s meaningful and enduring reason to exist. It aligns with long-term financial performance, provides a clear context for daily decision making, and motivates relevant stakeholders. In this regard Public Relations and Management must cooperate to find a purpose and to communicate it.

The topic was discussed during the QSP Summit 2021. It consists of three main points. Firstly, companies need to get real, to get to the places where the products or services and the brands are. Secondly, they need to do good by embedding purpose into the brands. An thirdly, they must be unmissable, always available. They also need to be sure that they are accessible for all, both physically and digitally.

Our Purpose must Change

Regarding stability, there is a big challenge. Society is moving faster than advertising can follow.  This means that we need to ‘unstereotype’ through inclusive and global reach Marketing. The ability to deliver global marketing strategies is increasingly important, and collective actions are required to build the role of business at the frontline.

All of these imply attention to the new formats of Marketing and Communication that are arising to help brands and organizations acquiring reputation. For example, there is a dynamic in social media that brands are choosing it over ads, being this content moderated by multiple humans so that there is no abuse.

At the same time, creativity is the keyword. This means that the content does not have to be perfect. It means that it has to be authentic, real and brave, done by a new generation of content creators that aim to diversify this content trough learning and innovation to broaden the audience. This is the now purpose of PR.
