Shaping the Future

QSP Summit

The dynamics of management, marketing and public relations often exists as a mix of all three. In today’s uncertainty of businesses and changing work practices, no profession can stay homogeneous. This was one of the underlying subjects of the 2021 QSP Summit.

How efficiently an organization delivers its own brand, and share its purpose, will be the cornerstone of their success. Firms and corporations that are unable to present themselves are going to decline. This was one of the key takeaways of the 2021 QSP Summit. It was held in Oporto in September 2021. Other hot topics were the management and labour challenges appearing in all industries. Companies need to create a culture that cultivates trust between employees and the employer.

Cultivate Trust

Ask yourself, what are you doing to cultivate trust? Apparently, the question is in every decision maker mind. Because, the pandemic showed everyone that many of the talent, role and leadership models failed. Meanwhile upkeeping corporate culture has become much more difficult in the past years.

But most importantly, the fact that every employee wants something different became apparent. As a result, these demands forced corporations to figure how out adapt flexible work into their culture. Not only that but they also had to internalise new ways of doing work. These involve a lot of cloud based systems that sometimes utilise artificial intelligence. Therefore organisations had to adapt to a symbiosis between human ingenuity and machine intelligence.

A Clear Purpose

All of above is also a challenge for Public Relations, whose importance, purpose and scope is self-evidently increasing. Marketing and PR will help Management to answer the change from Profit to Purpose, from Hierarchy to Network, from Controlling to Empowering.

A Purpose that all stakeholders identify themselves with, an empowerment that prepares people for the future, a networking that you cannot control but that you benefit from. A construction of collective intelligence, building and nurturing strong relationships.

In conclusion, there is no prototype for the future. The future itself became a a strange form of natural resource. The goal for people and organizations is to design a future where we all want to live. Because if you don’t actually shape the future, someone will do it for you. Count on us to be the future shape.
